POR • Na semana passada, entre os dias 17 e 19 de abril, tivemos o privilégio de, novamente, marcar presença no Congresso Fotografar, na cidade de São Paulo. Em sua nona edição, o congresso de 2012, como já era esperado, trouxe uma série de profissionais do Brasil e estrangeiros para falar sobre os novos caminhos e tendências da fotografia e do mercado fotográfico. O foco, desde o princípio, é a fotografia como negócio aliado aos diferenciais criativos e artísticos necessários para o bom desempenho da atividade.

Na terça-feira, primeiro dia do congresso, pela manhã, tivemos a presença de Jessica Claire, uma californiana que fotografa casamentos ao redor do mundo e tem se destacado pelo estilo que chamou de “Vintage Chic”, renovando a tendência vintage que vemos ressurgir com força, o que lhe colocou entre os dez melhores fotógrafos do mundo segundo as revistas especializadas. Durante a tarde tivemos as apresentações de três atrações nacionais: o paulista Danilo Siqueira, o carioca Kadu di Calafiori e o Riguetti, de Campinas.

Danilo, de maneira semelhante à nossa, da RAP Photodesign, veio da publicidade trazendo um olhar diferente para a fotografia, destaque para seu carisma e a simplicidade.

Kadu, atualmente residindo e trabalhando em Jaraguá do Sul, SC, começou no Rio de Janeiro, apadrinhado pelo irreverente Marcelo Bruno, fotografando inicialmente para jornais e depois se especializando em celebridades. Acabou parando em Jaraguá do Sul fugindo de uma série de acontecimentos desagradáveis, relacionados com a violência no Rio de Janeiro.

Guilherme Riguetti, direto de Campinas, veio para mostrar seu trabalho na cinematografia moderna com DSLRs, também com muitas semelhanças com o que desenvolvemos aqui na RAP Photodesign. Falou de tudo um pouco, equipamentos, estrutura, equipe, metodologia.

Quarta-feira, segundo dia de congresso, começamos dando bom dia à Sue Bryce, uma neo zelandesa radicada na Austrália e que se destaca na cena internacional. Sue trouxe ao congresso uma apresentação de suas duas características mais fortes, o belo trabalho com a fotografia feminina, com uma releitura super elegante do estilo Glamour e a utilização intensa de Fusions. Ficamos surpresos e também felizes em notar que a ênfase dada aos Fusions pela fotógrafa internacional é, novamente, muito semelhante ao trabalho que desenvolvemos na RAP Photodesign, onde implementamos esse novo serviço de maneira pioneira no Brasil.

No período da tarde, novamente três atrações nacionais e uma situação bastante diferente, pelo menos para nós. O primeiro a subir no palco foi, para o orgulho e deleite da RAP Photodesign, este mesmo que vos escreve aqui, Raphael Bittencourt, seguido plea família Vanassi e depois por Daniela Margotto.

A apresentação da RAP Photodesign tratou de demonstrar a importância de criar uma estrutura mágica, com o design diferenciado de diversas linhas de produtos, um ambiente acolhedor e um atendimento envolvente visando encantar cada um de nossos clientes. A apresentação começou com nosso mais novo Fusion, que tem o objetivo de apresentar os diferenciais criativos do nosso trabalho e um pouco da maneira como vemos a fotografia. Em seguida detalhamos, etapa por etapa, como conseguimos construir uma imagem que transpira inovação, por meio de peças e produtos exclusivamente desenvolvidos por nós e um atendimento realmente interessado em se aprofundar e se envolver com personalidade de cada cliente. Falamos muito de Experience Design, conceito que foi muito importante para criarmos toda a nossa operação. Finalizamos a apresentação com outro Fusion, contendo os depoimentos de três dos clientes atendidos por nós e felizes da vida com os resultados. O resultado disso, para nossos clientes, é emoção total. O resultado disso na Fotografar 2012 foi uma multidão de fotógrafos profissionais de todo o país com canetas em punho e câmeras fotográficas ávidas por por registrar as telas e os Fusions de nossa apresentação. Melhor ainda foi ouvir, depois das palestras, o elogio de muitos congressistas e o agradecimento pela forma didática e clara como expusemos a alma do nosso negócio. Na verdade nós é que temos que agradecer pelo prazer de estar lá contribuindo um pouco para o fortalecimento da fotografia no Brasil.

Logo após nossa apresentação, subiu ao palco a família Vanassi, do Rio Grande so Sul. Eles vieram para falar como migraram de uma operação de volume para uma operação de grife. A palestra foi um dos momentos mais divertidos e descontraídos do congresso, com o carisma e a sinceridade de cada um dos membros da família, particularmente a simplicidade do Sr. Nadir Vanassi e a energia do Gustavo Vanassi.

Encerrando a quarta-feira, Daniela Margotto, da cidade de São Paulo, e sua equipe subiram ao palco para mostrar um pouco de sua operação de estúdio de rua, também na linha Grife. Demonstraram altíssimo nível de controle e qualidade administrativa no negócio, sem falar no belo portfólio.

Todo ano gostamos de destacar a importância que as palestras assistidas no Congresso Fotografar têm no desenvolvimento e aprimoramento do que fazemos aqui na RAP Photodesign. São inúmeras informações, inúmeras oportunidades de trocas de experiências com outros profissionais, inúmeras fontes de referências do mais alto nível no mercado e inúmeras “cutucadas” que nos abrem os olhos para o que deveríamos fazer (ou deixar de fazer) em termos de marketing, atendimento, administração, etc.

Desta vez, estivemos do lado de lá, como palestrantes, por uma hora, falando para mais de setecentos fotógrafos (achamos que uns mil na verdade), mas no restante do tempo estivemos entre eles, com o mesmo objetivo, nos aprimorar.

Agradecemos muito aos feedbacks positivos sobre nossa apresentação e, entusiastas que somos para conversar e debater sobre a fotografia, cinematografia e assuntos relacionados, deixamos o convite a todos os que nos assistiram e aos que de alguma forma tomaram conhecimento do nosso trabalho para entrar em contato da forma que preferirem. Será um prazer conversar com todos vocês.

Também gostaríamos muito de agradecer também à organização do Congresso Fotografar, ao Leo Saldanha, à Regina Sinibaldi, ao Carlos dreher (onde quer que ele esteja agora) e à toda a “Família Fhox” pelo profissionalismo e pela atenção a nós dedicada.

Em tempo, um agradecimento especial se faz necessário, visto que, durante a apresentação da RAP Photodesign, o Raphael Bittencourt, no com a preocupação de não extrapolar o tempo de sua palestra, cometeu o pecado de não agradecer a Kettelin C Z Bittencourt. A Kettelin cumpre diversos papéis fundamentais no nosso estúdio, particularmente no atendimento e na produção, sendo também um dos fatores decisivos no nosso processo de “encantamento” dos clientes. Então, ainda que com alguns dias de atraso, porém para uma plateia muito maior e em letras maiúsculas, do fundo do coração, MUITO OBRIGADO KETTELIN POR AJUDAR A TORNAR TUDO ISSO POSSÍVEL.

Ano que vem tem mais Congresso Fotografar, vocês têm dúvida de que estaremos lá novamente?
PS.: Agradecimentos nunca são de mais, então gostaríamos de gradecer também nossos amigos, apoiadores e familiares, particularmente o Sr. André V L Bittencourt e a Sra Maria da Graça B Bittencourt, meus pais, por sempre terem me dado apoio incondicional em todos os meus projetos, sem vocês EU não seria possível.

ENG • Last week, between april 17^th and 19^th, we had the pleasure of, once more, mark our presence at the FotografarCongress, in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. In its ninth edition, the 2012 congress, as expected, brought a series of professionals from Brazil and from abroad to talk about the photographic market new trends and directions. The focus, since the beginning, is photography as a business allied with creative and artistic differentials needed to perform the photographic activity well.

On Thursday, first day of the congress, in the morning, we had the presence of Jessica Claire, a Californian wedding photographer that shoots weddings around the world and have being noticed by her style, called “Vintage Chic”, renewing the vintage trend that we see strongly resurrecting, and that put her among the ten best photographers of the world according to some specialized magazines. During the afternoon there were three Brazilian presentations: Danilo Siqueira from São Paulo, Kadu di Calafiori, from Rio de Janeiro and Guilherme Riguetti from Campinas.

Danilo, in a way similar to ours, from RAP Photodesign, came from the advertising market bringing a different look to photography, highlights for his charisma and simplicity.

Kadu, who actually lives in Jaraguá do Sul, SC, started in Rio de Janeiro sponsored by the irreverent Marcelo Bruno, shooting for newspapers at the beginning and then after specialized himself in celebrities. He ended up in Jaraguá do Sul after a series of bad experiences related to the violence in Rio.

Guilherme Riguetti, right from Campinas, came to show his work in the modern cinematography with DSLRs, also with lots of similarities with what we do here in RAP Photodesign. He talked a little bit about everything: equipment, structure, team, methodology.

On Wednesday, second day of the congress, we started say good morning to Sue Bryce, a New Zealander that lives in Asutralia and stands out in the international scene. Sue brought to the congress a presentation with two of her strongest characteristics: the beautiful work with women photography, with an elegant review of the Glamour style and the intense use of Fusions. We were surprised and also happy to notice the emphasis given to the Fusions by the international photographer that is, again, very similar to what we have being doing in RAP Photodesign, where we were implemented this new service being pioneers in Brazil.

In the afternoon, three Brazilian highlights again and a pretty different situation, at least for us. The first one to get on stage, for the pride and joy of RAP Photodesign, was the one that writes to you right now, Raphael Bittencourt, followed by the Vanassi Family and by Daniela Margotto after them.

RAP Photodesign presentation was about the importance of creating a magical structure, with the differentiated design of several lines of products, the welcoming environment and the involving customer service targeted to the goal of enchanting our clients. The presentation started with our newest Fusion, that has the objective of showing the creative differentials of our work and a little bit of the way we see photography. Right after that we detailed, step by step, how we succeeded to build an image that transpire innovation, through pieces and products exclusively developed by us and a customer service really interested in go deep and get involved with the personality of each of our clients. We talked a lot about Experience Design, a concept that was very important for us to create all our business. Our presentation ended with a second Fusion, containing the testimonies of three of our happy clients. The result of all this, for our clients, is total emotion. The result of all this in Fotografar 2012 was a multitude of professional photographers from all over the country with pen and paper on hand taking notes notes and hungry cameras eager to register the screens and fusions of our presentation. Even better was to hear, after the presentations, the compliments of several participants and the thankfulness for our didactic and clear way to present the soul of our business. Actually we are the ones to say thanks for the pleasure to be there contributing a little bit to strengthen photography in Brazil.

Right after our presentation, the Vanassi Family, from Rio Grande do Sul, got on the stage. They came to talk about how they migrated from a volume operation to a boutique operation. The presentation was one of the funniest and most relaxed moments of the congress, with the charisma and sincerity of each one of their family members, particularly Mr. Nadir Vanassi's simplicity and Gustavo Vanassi's energy.

Finalizing the Wednesday, Daniela Margotto, from the city of São Paulo, and her team got on stage to show alittle bit of their street studio operation, also alined with the boutique style. They demonstrated high levels of control and administrative quality in their business, not to mention the beautiful portfolio.

Yaer after year we like to emphasize how important the presentations in the Fotografar Congress are in the development of what we do here in RAP Photodesign. There are countless informations, countless, opportunities to exchange experiences with other professionals, countless resources of references from the highest level in the market and countless pokes that open up our eyes to what de should do (our should not) in therms of marketing, customer care, business, etc.

This time, we were on the other side, as lecturers, for an hour, talking to more than seven hundred photographers (about a thousand we think), but during most of the time we were there among them, with the same goal, improve ourselves.

We are very thankful to the positive feedbacks about our presentation and, enthusiasts as we are to debate and talk about photography, cinematography and related subjects, we invite everyone that attended our presentation and the ones that, somehow got to know about our work, to get in touch the way you prefer. It will be a pleasure to talk to you all.

We also want to say thanks to the organization of Congresso Fotografar, to Leo Saldanha, to Regina Sinibaldi, to Carlos Dreher (wherever he might be now) and the hole “Fhox Family” for the professionalism and attention to us dedicated.

In time, a special thanks must be done here since, during the RAP Photodesign presentation, Raphael Bittencourt, concerned about not extrapolating his time, committed the sin of not thanking Kettelin C Z Bittencourt. Kettelin is responsible for several fundamental roles in our studio, particularly in the customer care department an in the production of lots of jobs, being also vutal to our process of enchantment of the clients. Therefore, despite being some days late, but for a much bigger audience and in capital letters, with all our hearts, here it goes: THANK YOU KETTELIN FOR HELPING US MAKE ALL THIS POSSIBLE.

Next year there is more Fotografar Congerss, do you have any doubt about we being there again?
